Prior to 2022 

Lake & Environment Conservation

Many Lake Conservation programs were conducted & worked as a lake conservationist to save many lakes from getting commercialized and saved few crores of the public taxes & written letters to Koliwad Committee, Karnataka & filing PIL’s against “Sewerage water getting into lakes”

  • Single handedly save Doddabommasandra lake from encroachment and save 8 Cr of taxpayers money by asking the accused to reverse the damage ( news clippings attached)
  • Aquifer mapping in North Bangalore in conjunction with Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL) (photo enclosed)
  • Understanding lake history and trails by getting survey maps from the revenue (photo enclosed)
  • Volunteered for revival of Doddabommasandra Lake, Chelkere, Hebbal, Peenya Lakes and many more and focused on creating lake groups with the intention of cleaning and greening the lakes from contaminated, sewerage waters, garbage & debris. (photo attached)
  • Guided many research students, interns and resident groups, institutions, corporates on lake management (photo attached)
  • Provided Awareness of lake management through different platforms and different languages TV & Radio shows, news, documentaries etc. on National & International platforms. (photo enclosed)

Swachh Bharath Abiyaan

Working closely with the Government on Audits pertaining to environment, health & hygiene. Conducted Public & Community toilet audit for BBMP & submitted report to Swatch Bharath (1st of its kind report on Sustainable public toilets).

Indus Herbs

World funded afforestation Programs in Forests, Lakes & Rivers. Tree planting drives, Stree & Purusha & Bala Mulikas on Herbal gardens in Public spaces.

BBMP Primary HealthCare Centre – conducted a program for Pregnant Women by counselling them on the importance of the right nutrition.

Social Welfare Audits

in schools & programs for progress of socially backward people, a program with BBMP, organised for grants from Social Welfare Dept, BBMP to socially backward people, funding for students from minority sections.

Eco friendly Ganesha Campaign

Environment clubs

in which promotions in more than 1000 schools in Bangalore that are Govt, aided & private schools were created. Also conducted programs at many Govt. schools & colleges on lake conservation & awareness to limit plastic use & solid waste management was imparted. (photo enclosed)

Work Experience as a freelancer

as an auditor for ISO 14,001 Environment Management System & 18,001 health & Safety Management System consultant for Reuters, Accenture, Cognizant, Rane Madras, Torrent power & gas, Nokia Siemens, Formula 1, TVS Tyres, Kent RO, Carlsberg, and more. Worked as an advisory panel for Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) & Annadana, CAFWA, Confederation of Residents Welfare Associations (CoRWA) etc. A certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14,001, internal auditor for 18001, firefighter skills trained & basic & advanced life saver.

Bangalore City Design Compendium (BCDC)

 a My Bhumi program conducted in association with BBMP (Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike) on Solid Waste Management in Bangalore. Celebration of eco festival campaigns for years to drastically change the mindset of people for switching to mud & clay Ganeshas, collection of animal waste during Ramzan.(photo enclosed).

Women Welfare

Addressed Plenty of Women Associations on Physical & Mental Health. Conducted Health Camps for women and was the Chief Guest at IISc, Bangalore for Women’s Day, Chief Guest at Cambridge school, Bangalore for Independence Day Celebration, Chief Guest for Republic Day & Science fair at DMC School, Bangalore, Guest for Environmental Day celebration at DMC School, Bangalore, Canadian International School, Bangalore, lake management, field visit, convener.   • Conducted tree inventory in Narasipura lake where, Tree Champion Smt Saalumarada Timmakka was also involved in numbering the trees and also educated the participants on “ Role of a tree in our lives’ .
